Power BI needs a date column, a few categories to slice by and numbers to sum. The sales orders, website traffic, marketing campaigns and call center files all have that shape. Load the .xlsx or .csv with Get data, then follow the dashboard exercise.
Get data > Excel workbook (or Text/CSV) and pick the file. The .xlsx files keep column types, so Power BI detects dates and decimals without changes.
